What Is A Mother Blessing Ceremony?
Also known as a Mother Shower, Belly Blessing or Blessingway, this ceremony draws upon the four elements of creation to honour our feminine power as creatresses: Becoming a mother is a blood rite. A mother blessing honours this rite. It is a sacred mother centred celebration to honour and nurture a pregnant woman and her journey into birth. It is a beautiful blessing for the mother as she transitions through this sacred time of transformation so she can approach birth & motherhood feeling supported and empowered. If you are journeying from maiden to mother or mother to mother all of you is welcome here.

What Does A Mother Blessing Involve?
A mother blessing is a ceremonial day of ritual designed to honour, nurture and shower the mother with love, care and support before her baby arrives. We begin with a beautiful connecting meditation & sacred sharing circle, followed with pampering fun for the mama to be (from massage, bump art, flower dressing, to foot spa etc). We honour the mother or parents to be with a ceremony and well wishes from those there and take part in sacred ritual and games. We then end the sacred circle with sound healing so the rest of the day can be enjoyed how you please. We will discuss and personalise the day to you so you can incorporate your own wishes and traditions into the ceremony.
Sessions are held in person, local to Sunshine Coast, QLD.
